Mark Ruiz?s two-RBI single with one out in the seventh proved to be the game-winner as Framingham Post 74 (10-10) won at North County 6-2.
After a solo home run by Greg Hemmer in the fourth inning, Post 74 added another run in the top of the fifth to take a 2-0 lead. North County rallied to tie in the sixth inning, scoring two unearned runs off of Lee Tarlin. Tarlin scattered two hits in six and 2/3 innings of work.
Andrew Mooney played well defensively at shortstop.
TYNGSBORO 3, NATICK 2: Jack Turner allowed three hits in five scoreless innings of work, but host Tyngsboro rallied with a walk-off win over Natick (3-10).
Natick led 2-0 until Tyngsboro tied the game in the sixth inning. Brady Furdon and Ryan Mooney each had an RBI double.
BILLERICA 3, ASHLAND 2 (8 INN.): Nick Edwards allowed just six hits and two earned runs in seven and 2/3 innings, but Ashland (9-6) fell at Billerica.
Edwards needed only 70 pitches in his outing for Ashland, which led 2-1 until Billerica rallied to tie the game in the fifth inning. Matt Jeye had a double, a walk, and a run scored, while Ben Smith added a double and a run scored.
