Florida Baptist Retirement Center gets top rating in U.S. News & World Report

VERO BEACH (FBW)?U.S. News & World Report has listed the Florida Baptist Retirement Center, a facility affiliated with the Florida Baptist State Convention, as one of the ?Best?Nursing Homes in Florida.??
The 24-bed facility received 5 stars, the highest overall rating, from the federal government?s Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services,?according to a news report at http://health.usnews.com/senior-housing/nursing-homes/fl?page=3. A facility?s overall rating is geared to its?performance in health inspections, nurse staffing, and medical care.
Eddie McClelland, president/CEO of Florida Baptist Financial Services, which oversees the facility, sent a?letter to FBFS trustees and friends announcing the news.
?This is absolutely outstanding,? McClelland wrote. ?I am so proud of our team of people.?
McClelland said the retirement home is honored by the listing.
?Thank you for your prayers an support of this wonderful ministry,? McClelland wrote. ?On behalf of our residents and care staff, it is our honor to serve the Lord by serving others.?
