Cycling Trails For Beginners in North Carolina

North Carolina is one of the states that offer great spots for a beginner in cycling. This sport is a fun and healthy activity because it involves the exertion of the muscles and allows you to explore varied places. The following are the known locations in the state which provides a great experience for beginners.

The first cycling trail that you can try is the Reedy Fork in Greensboro, North Carolina. It runs about 3.7 miles. It is best for a beginner like you or if you are teaching someone who is a first timer when it comes to this sport. You will be able to pass through bridges.

The Tanglewood Trail is another possible location that you can try. The course that runs 4.5 miles has certain climbs and turns but it is not too hard for a beginner like you. When doing this kind of activity, you must have some form of self defense such as the air tazer especially when you are not familiar with the location.

If ever you stop over at Cary, North Carolina, you can try the Harris Park which provides a track for beginners. The trail that is 8 miles long has a few jumps and a great number of log pyramids. There are a lot of things that you can see in the park which makes your ride more fun.

The flat cycling course at Roanoke Rapids in the state is great for first timers. The trail used to be a canal utilized during the civil war. You need to finish a path that runs about 14 miles. You can make a few stop when you get tired. Take a break and eat your snacks.

The trail offered in the Country Park can provide a different adventure for a cycling enthusiast teaching someone who is still a novice. The faster you go the more fun you will experience. You can also take the easy cycling trip at the Duke Trail in Durham, North Carolina. You will be taking an upward and downward course because the trail follows a few hills. The Hagan Stone Park- Chatfield Trail is another ideal path for beginners most especially that you will not encounter any obstacles. You will be riding over a flat trail that runs 3.5 miles. There are a few raising sections but it is still best for starters and it would be fun when with the family.

Lastly, you can try the Hobby Park which is mostly a single track for cyclists. You can finish the course even for an hour especially when you continuously follow the path. This is a good form of exercise in the morning to start the other recreational activities that you plan to do.
